On June 5, 2025, a joint meeting of the Council of Heads of Communications Administrations – members of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications and the Coordinating Council of the CIS Member States on the Informatization takes place in St. Petersburg with the participation of Mr. K. E. Laykam, Chairman of the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Mr. K.E. Laykam will speak on the topic "Creating AI-ready Official Statistics in the CIS: Statistical Data Exchange Standards, Interoperability, and Smart Data», as part of Section 1 of the meeting, "On Issues Related to the Development and Application of Artificial Intelligence in the Region."
