On June 8-9, 2026, the CIS Statistical Committee hosts a Meeting on the use of artificial intelligence and big data in statistics in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the current status and prospects for implementing modern digital technologies in the work of statistical agencies, and to exchange information on best practices in the use of big data, artificial intelligence, and other solutions in statistical activities.

The Meeting will examine international experience in the use of big data in statistics and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into statistical practice.

The Meeting is attended by leading experts in the field of big data, representatives of national statistical offices of the CIS member states, and members of the scientific community.

The Meeting is held in a hybrid format, with in-person and remote participation.
