The 25th Session of the Meeting of the UNECE Group of Experts on National Accounts was held in Geneva on 4-6 May 2026
From 4 to 6 May 2026, the UNECE is hosting the 25th Session of the Annual Meeting of the Group of Experts on National Accounts, bringing together over 110 representatives of national statistical offices from CIS and other countries, as well as international organizations. The Commonwealth of Independent States is represented by Mr. M.E. Myskin, Director of the Economic Cooperation Department of the CIS Executive Committee, Mr. A.E. Kosarev, Deputy Chairman of the CIS Statistical Committee, and experts from the CIS Statistical Committee.
The Session was organized by the UNECE Steering Group on National Accounts with the support of the CIS Statistical Committee, the Asian Development Bank, the European Free Trade Association, and the UN Statistics Division.
The Session will discuss the implementation of the 2025 SNA and the of the Balance of Payments and International Investment Positions Manual, 7th edition, the use of new data sources and modern tools, price and volume measurement, supply and use tables, and input-output tables.
Mr. A.E. Kosarev presented a report on the CIS Statistical Committee's efforts to support the implementation of the 2025 SNA in the Commonwealth.
On May 7, following the 25th Session of the UNECE Meeting, the CIS Statistical Committee will hold a Meeting of representatives of the NSOs of the CIS countries.
