As part of the business program, a series of thematic panel sessions are planned for May 28, 2026, dedicated to the prospects for industrial development and digital transformation.

One of the sessions is devoted to the application of modern digital technologies in the work of statistical offices. The purpose of this session is to discuss the current status and prospects for implementing modern digital technologies in the work of statistical offices and the Eurasian Economic Commission, and to exchange information on best practices in the use of big data, artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, SDMX, and other innovations.

During the discussion, representatives of the statistical offices of Kazakhstan, Russia, and Belarus, the central banks of Armenia and Russia, and the scientific community discussed:

- the use of modern digital technologies and the transformation of statistical activities;

- the practice of applying international standards for the exchange of statistical information;

- international experience in integrating artificial intelligence technologies into statistics;

- improving statistical methodology and enhancing professional competence.

Mr. V.S. Zubakha, Head of the Department of Information Statistical Resources and Technologies, represented the Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States in the session "Application of Modern Digital Technologies in the Activities of Statistical Offices" and presented a report on the practical application of digital technologies in the implementation of the project "Development of CIS Statistics".
