The High-Level Group on the Modernization of Official Statistics (HLG-MOS) had a 2025 workshop on November 19-21, 2025, in the UNECE .

The issues related to statistical organization, including improving data collection, processing, and dissemination technologies were discussed. Mr. Konstantin Laykam, Chairman of the CIS Statistical Committee, presented the report "Linked Open Statistics: First Experience & Proposals" on the work of the CIS Statistical Committee in this area.

Mr. Konstantin Laykam and Mr. Andrey Kosarev, Deputy Chairman of the CIS Statistical Committee, also had a meeting with Mr. R. Diez de Medina , ILO Chief Statistician and Director of the Statistics Department, an agreement was reached to join efforts in developing the technology using the experience of the CIS Statistical Committee based on the semantic approach in building the Knowledge Management System.
