II International Statistical Forum of the CIS: new technologies and data sources in statistics
The Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS-STAT) with the support of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the CIS Executive Committee, organizes the II International Statistical Forum of the CIS: new technologies and data sources in statistics as part of the project “Development of CIS Statistics”.
The Forum will be held from October 2 to 4, 2024 in Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan).
The purpose of the Forum is to exchange best practices in the use of modern information technologies, modernize statistical production processes in the context of digital transformation, discuss scenarios for the use of alternative data sources, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence for the production of official statistics, requirements for statistical education and other relevant issues.
The target audience of the Forum is heads and specialists of national statistical services of the CIS region and other countries, leading experts in the field of modern technologies of international organizations of the UN system, representatives of government bodies, the scientific community, higher education institutions, business and media.
