The International Statistical Quiz is a project of the Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS aimed at strengthening the professional statistical community and popularizing statistics in the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The Interstate Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States invites everyone to participate in the III International Statistical Quiz, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the formation of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) – an association that for more than three decades has served as a platform for the development of multilateral cooperation among member states, promoting integration processes, sharing best practices and knowledge, as well as the development of statistical science and its importance in the modern world.

The Quiz starts on April 27, 2026, and will be held online in two stages: Stage One – April 27 to May 3, 2026 Stage Two – May 12, 2026

During the first stage, you will be asked questions on various statistical topics, including historical events, international cooperation, the achievements of CIS countries in statistics, socio-economic processes, and integration processes.

During the second stage, the finalists of the first stage will complete a creative task, which will determine the winners of the quiz.

The grand prize for the three winners is a trip to the IV International Statistical Forum of the CIS, which will be held in October 2026 in Yerevan, Republic of Armenia.

We are confident that participating in the Quiz will not only test and expand your knowledge of the CIS countries and their statistics, but also highlight the importance of joint work and the achievements of the 35 years of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
